How much is it to reserve our date?
We require a $250 non-refundable save-the-date fee. From there, we tailor the perfect package for your event.
After saving the date, how long do I have to sign the contract?
We aim to finalize the contract within two weeks after saving your date, so we can begin planning.
Who needs to be present at contract signing, and is a deposit required?
The responsible party must be present to sign. No money is required at that time; instead, we’ll create a custom payment plan.
Can we bring alcohol?
We have guidelines due to licensing. We’ll walk you through the details when we plan together.
Can we store personal items like dresses or candles?
You’re welcome to bring essential items for your event. Space is limited, so we’ll coordinate drop-off—either the morning of or, if no event before, the night prior—to store those key pieces safely.
When can the cake be dropped off?
Indoors at The Benjamin, morning delivery is fine. Outdoors at The Victorian, we recommend 30-60 minutes before the event to avoid heat or flies.
Do you have a fridge for items?
We have a small, shared fridge with limited space, but it is available.
What happens in case of rain?
We offer an inclement weather package. If outdoors at The Victorian, The Benjamin will be available as a backup indoor space (with a fee discussed during planning).
What are setup and teardown times?
You have four hours for setup on the event day and one and a half hours for teardown after the event.
Can we have a rehearsal the day before?
If we aren’t booked the day before, you’ll have a one-hour rehearsal. If we are booked, we’ll arrange an earlier day that week.
Do you have preferred vendors or can we bring our own?
We work with any vendors, but we have a recommended list. All vendors must be licensed and certified.
Are there sound or music restrictions?
Yes, music is limited to 70 decibels. Events typically conclude at 1 a.m., with an option to extend until 2 a.m.
Can we decorate the venue ourselves?
Absolutely! You may decorate, and we also have a curated list of licensed décor vendors from Eagle Pass and Del Rio.
Are there restrictions on open flames or fireworks?
Yes, open flames are not allowed. Only battery-operated options are permitted. Cold fireworks are allowed indoors, and outdoor fireworks require our licensed partner to ensure safety and handle permits.
Can we attach décor to walls or ceilings?
Yes, with certain guidelines. We will outline all specific requirements during your contract review.
What’s included in the rental—tables, chairs, amenities?
We will provide a detailed overview of included tables, chairs, and amenities (such as a hostess) when you sign. Any additional items or associated fees will be discussed at that time.
