About Us

At the heart of downtown Eagle Pass, The Victorian House and The Benjamin stand as timeless spaces where history, celebration, and meaningful moments come together.

Originally built in 1886, The Victorian House embodies the spirit of old Eagle Pass—rich in charm, character, and tradition. Thoughtfully restored and reimagined, the home blends historic elegance with modern comforts, creating an atmosphere where guests are invited to slow down, celebrate, and truly be present.

Since opening its doors as a venue, The Victorian has become a place where life’s most important moments are honored—from weddings and anniversaries to gatherings that simply deserve something beautiful. Inside, guests will find carefully curated spaces including The Champagne Room, The Rose Room, Scarlett’s Foyer, and The Plum Lounge—each designed to offer its own unique experience while maintaining the warmth and intimacy of the home.

Next door, The Benjamin was born from a vision to expand that experience. Once known as the historic King Fisher Saloon, the space has been thoughtfully transformed into a stunning indoor venue. Its restoration honors the past while introducing new elements—like the signature swan fixtures inspired by 1950s Fifth Avenue—that make it truly one of a kind.

Together, these two spaces offer something rare: the ability to celebrate every part of your event in its own beautifully designed setting. From quiet, meaningful moments to lively celebrations, every detail has been considered.

As owners, Jaime and Desma Rodriguez have poured their hearts into preserving the history of these properties while creating a space that feels welcoming, elegant, and alive with possibility. Their vision is simple—to offer a place where people can gather, celebrate, and create memories that will last for generations.

Over the years, The Victorian and The Benjamin have hosted countless celebrations, welcomed guests from near and far, and even served as the backdrop for documentaries and notable events. Yet, what matters most remains the same: the people, the moments, and the stories created within these walls.

Because here, every celebration is more than an event—
it’s part of something lasting.
